Antonio Quari is the winemaker at Domaine Prieure Roch; having honed his craft under the close tutelage of Henri-Frederic Roch and Yannick Champ he now makes his own cuvée under the name Non Progredi est Regredi 'to not go forward is to go backward'.

2020 is his fourth vintage of Pinot Noir from Ladoix "Les Briquottes". The site was planted in 1976 and has been farmed organically for more than ten years. The winemaking process mirrors DPR, with hand selection, 100% whole bunch pressing, Pigeage by foot, and remontage by gravity only, with elevage for ten months in old barrels, with a very small amount of sulphur used at bottling.
