    The famous family domaine is well established in Savigny les Beaune and the wines are made in their vaulted cellars at Chandon de Briailles. "François de Nicolay" is his own micro négoce started in 2000, only sourcing grapes from friends that work using organic and mostly biodynamic methods. This 100% pinot noir is quite simply lipsmackingly delicious. A really rare biodyamically grown Mercurey that made us think again about this southern Burgundy wine village.
