Patrick Piuze | Chablis Terroir de Courgis, 2019 | 3x Magnum

Montreal born Patrick Piuze came to Burgundy In 2000 to pursue his dream of working a harvest. 3 weeks later, he was offered a permanent position and 8 years later set up his own operation. He is for sure a maverick, hand harvesting and vinifying every single vineyard separately while 90% of the producer will use machine harvester and blend all together to have a simpler life. Patrick's obsession with details has put him in a space of a few years amongst the best makers of Chablis. Terroir de Courgis comes from the left Bank and will be one of his warmest site, resulting of a wine with broader shoulder and yet amazing freshness.
