We call this deluxe because it gets over 10 years ageing in the cellar! It’s base 2012 and a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay. 2012 is a very harmonious vintage, compared to "a good student" in the words of Juliette Alips. It’s a solar plot in a south facing majority vineyard in Marne Valley so it’s a powerful, beautifully ripe, very accessible and fruity wine. Prune, apple, Mirabelle, yellow fruit. There’s a touch of ripe exotic fruits, with a salty finish. The liveliness of this Champagne resides in its beautiful effervescence.
