For Pinot lovers, this 100% P.Noir from the Grand Cru terroir of AY is a must-try. To add even more complexity to an already sensational wine, the 2014 went through a second fermentation under cork, an expensive method which allows more oxygen exchange, resulting in more elaborate aromas and flavours. Opens with ripe red fruit on the nose, with a broad spectrum of flavours and nuances on the palate, varying from exotic fruit to chalky notes. Only 6,000 bottles were disgorged in October 2023, with 2.3 g/l dosage to keep things in check. A big, complex and utterly rewarding Pinot Noir Grand Cru.
