From one of the finest vintage of recent memory. A cool, tense and discreet wine for the ages. 50% Chardonnay & 50% Pinot Noir, which is a rare sight in Verzy. Elegant and introspective, this boasts great acidity and extremely refined mousse. The fruit is omnipresent, with fine notes of wild strawberry and blackcurrant. The Pinot is fully mature, providing an incomparable richness of fruit. The palate continues with notes of blood orange and a touch of pepper, delivering the freshness that is the signature of the Verzy terroir.
